Klipsch Reference RB-61 II Bookshelf Loudspeaker Review

Klipsch Reference RB-61 II Bookshelf Loudspeaker Review

Klipsch is not appeared as the best one in term of design, but for the price to performance and sounds quality, this one is probably better than its competitor. Even with so many competitors the company is still able to main their high position with their characteristic and solid quality. Every consumer should expect a great quality and sounds and this is what you could really expect from this bookshelf speaker. One of their biggest selling points is the horn technology. It is the latest technology that they develop specifically for their lineup series. It might be only appeared as the marketing, but the features is actually really work well and worth. It doesn’t match with every single user taste, but it offers you dynamic and crisp performance with limited source power. Regardless of many audiophile opinions about it, the company is still deserved for big compliment. To make it easier for you to decide, here the full review about this audio gadget. So we hope you enjoy it.

Sound Performance

Klipsch Reference RB-61 is capable of running a total of 8 ohm load with high efficiency 95db. Those things are designed for allowing the speakers to play a very loud of music with an average or normal amplifiers and receivers. They make better improvement on the source power and affects to the sound quality. It is not too significant, but a really worth improvement. Basically, the product is set up with stereo arrangement design. The RB-61 II is appeared to be able on producing moderate depth soundstage and having a really good impression on imaging the quality. The speaker manage to deliver a very well forward quality with crisp highs, but sometimes it fails on delivering the high quality of lows. The listening presentation is not that bad, but it is little uncontrolled on the lows. The sound distraction doesn’t appear and you probably know that most of small speaker is always have problem on the lowest frequency.

Klipsch Reference RB-61 II Bookshelf Loudspeaker Review 2

The small bookshelf speaker might having problem on low frequency, however this one is good on present good lower registers without sacrificing the coherent and sonic landscape. You will love the bass effect and really grab my intention at the first time. It perfectly catches the originality of any rock and classic music that you want to play. It is so consistent and doesn’t feel to brightly on my taste. However, the different people have their own different taste. You must have a different opinion toward it.

If you want a neutrality and transparency without any much adjustment to do, then the audio gadget is perfect for you. You could depend it on every music that you like and perfect for enjoying for relaxing entertainment. Finally, I could say that there is not much problem for the performance.

Is Small Speaker Worth To Buy?

Well, the answer is depends on your needs. There are many of them are bad on the bass and power clarity since the size really affects to those things. But, there are also some of them that able to catch those two things nicely with an acceptable performance. Klipsch product is one of those limited choice. The transparency and neutrality is top notch for the highs and lows audio, but it is not made for you if you depend that much on the tab for the amplifiers and need a better audio gadget for low frequency.

For me, smaller speaker is good since it doesn’t take too much spaces and it also could be your consideration because sometimes we also need more spaces for our next furniture. Everything is good if you want to consider this product. 1 inch titanium horn tweeter, 6.5 inch subwoofer, and Tractix Horn Technology is more than worth enough to try.

Exclusive wide dispersion surrounds technology. The base is weak.
Light and rigid woofer cones. There is no hole in the back for mounting it.
Crisp and clear audio quality. -

I do need to point that the price is probably not too affordable. In return it would provide you with an easy drive, crisp, and details without too many punchy on the bass. Those things are really worth for the price tag. You don’t find any similar feeling on the cheaper price or in other competitor. The company is still stand out against the new competitor and they prove it worthy to buy their product. You need to test it, so you will understand how amazing it is. At last, please make any comment if you have any question.
